Jackie Wullschlager's review in the Financial Times
The Chief Visual Arts Critic of the Financial Times, Jackie Wullschlager, included the gallery's current Aspects of Abstraction 1952-2007 exhibition in her Visual Arts round-up. Wullschlager writes of the show "That story [of abstraction in Europe after the war] is amplified in its British context in a broad exploration of how abstraction evolved from embattled 1950s positions - William Scott, Terry Frost - through radical rethinking by Bridget Riley, Anthony Caro, William Pye and others, to become a 21st-century common currency".
