We are delighted to announce that Leslie Marr's 1997 painting 'Stiperstones from Cothercott Hill' has been purchased by Pembroke College Cambridge. Marr is an alumnus of Pembroke College, having studied engineering at Cambridge in the early 1940s. In this photograph Marr is pictured in front of his painting during a small ceremony held to celebrate the acquisition of his work. He is standing next to Dr. Charles Melville, head of the Pembroke College Arts Comittee. This piece has been acquired for the Pembroke College Permanent Art Collection
