Saint Francis of Assisi

Piano Nobile is pleased to sponsor the National Gallery's exhibition Saint Francis of Assisi, which runs until 30 July. Presenting the art and imagery of Saint Francis from the 13th century to today the exhibition examines how his spiritual radicalism, his commitment to the poor, his love of God and nature, as well as his striving for peace between enemies and openness to dialogue with other religions, make him a figure of enormous relevance to our times. 

It includes a painting of St Francis by Craigie Aitchison, whose estate is represented by Piano Nobile.
